“He’s One Great-Grandson Of Man”

The Justin Movie is about a young man who faced an ultimate evil threat and saved a young damsel-in-distress, as well as the universe and his family. With the help of his friends. The first bit of art I did for the idea was the movie title.

It'll might take far too long to explain where did I get the idea for it. But all I say is that Denitucy being created by and betraying MicIvon is inspired by Smurfette making her very first appearance in The Smurfs, due to her being created by and betraying Gargamel. And also, Jaston revealing that he's neutral me from the future is inspired by The LEGO Movie: Part 2, due to Rex Dangervest revealing that he's evil Emmett from the future.

I decided to make a movie-book instead, because a feature length movie is such a colossal project to make! But despite this, I made it's movie trailer. First I started out with storyboards, then I started illustrating the new versions of the scenes. And then I looked for real backgrounds on the internet, before downloading them. I used the iPad to colur the illustrations in. And then after that, I used iMovie to put the pictures in on a ‘Blockbuster Movie Trailer’ template! Finally, I did the voiceover like a real movie trailer narrator! You can watch it - right here.

Anywha, my Grandad commented that a movie-book sounded like a new concept because he liked the sound of it!

I did a lot of illustrating for it, and it was quite hard to remember all the details, but it was worth it at the end.

One or two year(s) later, I decided to make a much-better edition of my book, with live-action backgrounds, and characters illustrated in cinematic style. I even added a disc in it, for it has my very own song on it! ;)

I worked really hard on this style of illustration on an iPad!

The reason why I wanted to change the style from the old edition is that I wanted to make it look like a real/proper movie.

I’ve learnt how to put things in their own layers, each and respectively.

What I want to happen with the copies of the book is that they would be on sale, wether online or at a bookshop. Plus the first copy, I bought Venture Arts’s Christmas party, in an upcoming Venture Arts exhibition at the Lowry.

Writing a book makes me feel like a famous celebrity. But I don't think I have any advise for people who want to write a book of their own. So, sorry.
